For Democrats frightened by either an openly socialist candidate or an untested man whom blacks dislike, the seemingly reasonable choices are an ex-Republican, sexist, anti-Second Amendment, micro-managing despot -- and Amy Klobuchar, the meanest Senator in Washington. Its time to remember that Klobuchar has no fixed principles but will, instead, do whatever it takes to advance herself in the Democrat Party.
On Friday, Klobuchars latest opportunistic move was to announce at a campaign event in Las Vegas that English should not be Americas official language, even though she voted for a Senate bill that would have made English the official language. She now says that she has taken a strong position against the English language in America, although she cannot seem to explain her past vote. One can certainly explain her current turnabout, though, despite her efforts to keep her various immigration positions opaque:
Her policy shift comes a week before the caucuses are set to take place in a state with a large Latino population and an area where Klobuchar has about 10 percent support.
Klobuchar has flip-flopped on immigration policies, once supporting projects like a wall and E-Verify to ban employers from hiring illegal aliens back in 2006.
The Minnesota senator has also been open about supporting amnesty but has hidden her support for exporting college graduate-level jobs overseas.
This conduct is typical Klobuchar. The PowerLine blog, which is headquartered in Minnesota, has been reporting on Klobuchar for years, revealing a calculating progressive who uses Minnesota nice as a way to avoid being tagged for the controversial and often inconsistent stands she takes.
In September 2017, Scott Johnson summed up Klobuchars tactics when it came to Trumps nominating Judge David Stras to the Eighth Circuit. Although Stras received bipartisan support in Minnesota from everyone who interacted with him,

Alas. we have no official language. The lunch room at the place where I work now sounds like the UN. In similar businesses even as little as 20 years ago one NEVER heard anything other than English.
ML/NJ
Could you please direct me to the {Rule-Law-Regulation et al} Supreme Court of the United States, where it say's it will accept a "Legal Brief," in any language. Oh never mind, I forgot, ENGLISH IS THE ONLY LANGUAGE THEY ACCEPT, what the hell was I thinking.
And to prove how Racist the Supreme Court of the United States is, Notice they don't offer "Press one for English," Press two for the loser language of choice.
Nor do they print their decisions in 57 other languages.
Talk about being Racist, you have to agree, there isn't another branch of government that comes close, unless of course you count the United States House of Representatives or the United States Senate, in that all bills, votes etc, are done in English.
Is this a Racist country or what. Eye's rolling now!!!!
“Our new national language will be Swedish.”
Perhaps the new national language should be Klingon.
Or it should be Jive.
Rules of the respective institution not the full law of the land. Even if you brought a 14th Amendment case against a state for not having English as their official language, it would not stand up as there is no element of the constitution to incorporate.
Anyone from New Mexico, your help is needed.
American Sign Language.
You mean sign language is different with different languages?? How do they sign the “~” in Spanish? ;)
I dont mind when they provide sign-language interpreters, but they need to do it in American Sign Language.
True enemies within, elected no less. Whats that say about us
Yes, here in NJ where we have so many replacement Americans English is disappearing in the workplace. A few years ago Bergen County added Korean to all official county business; now sample ballots come in English, Spanish, and Korean. In my town (in Hudson County) you’d need Portuguese instead of Korean.
“Its time to remember that Klobuchar has no fixed principles but will, instead, do whatever it takes to advance herself in the Democrat Party”
And that distinguishes her from any other democrat..how?
BTW My official language is English..although, most of the time you might guess otherwise.
This country actually does not have an official language.
Not one that is codified in law anyhow.
And that’s a problem.
Ill see your crazy radical ideas and raise you with some more crazy radical ideas.
I remember that phrase from my tour in Germany. My neighborhood gasthaus had it emblazoned on the outside of the building.
