“Watch for smoke signals from Chappaqua,” a Democratic friend said recently. “She wants back in.”

She — there is only one political she — might be getting what she wants.

The report that Hillary Clinton could become Michael Bloomberg’s running mate is one of those times when it is no exaggeration to use the word bombshell. Earthquake would also work, assuming the political marriage actually happens.

For now, it’s a trial balloon, as demonstrated by the timing and the way the idea was leaked. A big red banner on the Drudge Report blaring “EXCLUSIVE” is designed to shock and awe the political system, then gauge the fallout.

This idiocy was a trial balloon put up by people nuts enough to think Hillary’s still in the game.

She’s not.

Today’s women don’t ‘get’ a woman who enabled every rapist and sexual thug she ran across... They’ve turned their backs on Hillary. She’s a has-been filled with a thousand excuses for horrible people.

Essentially my thoughts too. There is no way I would ever want to occupy a high political office with her as my predesignated successor; too life shortening.

Clinton is a liability that Bloomberg’s cash cannot overcome. Choosing her will kill Bloomberg’s meme of being a better choice. Choosing her will call his judgement into question. And finally, her giving speeches on the campaign trail, speeches dripping with invictive towards President Trump, will remind everybody (including my liberal daughters in NYC) of how much they are over with “the She.”

BTW, Super Tuesday is coming up. Has Bloomberg even registered as a candidate in those states? Is he expecting to pick up delegates as a write-in?

For a party obsessed with “White Priviledge,” Bloomberg waltzing into the Democrat Party National Convention with no/few delegates, wads of money spilling from his pockets, and the proverbial Whore of Babylon possibly on his arm would the very epitome of everything the party claims to disdain.

Republicans should not miss the opportunity to emphasize this and that the only reason anyone is even talking about Bloomberg is because of his money. In fact, you could probably put together a “bought and sold” themed ad campaign emphasizing the general failure of the Democrat Party at the city, state, and national level that concludes with Bloomberg’s and Clinton’s faces and the rhetorical question “Is this really who you want making decisions about your future?”

If states can appoint electors based on the popular vote, they can do anything. The rule of law is gone.

I believe those blue lenses are medical lenses worn to relieve the symptoms of dyskinesia caused by either Parkinson's disease, a neurological disorder or dyskinesia which develops from the long term use of drugs used to treat a psychosis such as schizophrenia.

My take is that the person standing next to Bloomberg in the photo is not Hillary.

I think you are absolutely right. First off her hair looks very strange, I never seen her hair look like that, like it's got mud in in, and what's with her neck? Her neck never looks that tight, where's the jowls and that doesn't look like a photo that was taken 20 years ago, she has the same glasses and coat that she wore at that 911 memorial, the day she had that seizure.

Look at her neck here, it's like blubber, and look at the bottom photo, tight neck, matter of fact her whole face is smooth. That is NOT Hillary. I wonder if Bloomberg knew he was talking to her double. I think this is VERY credible because considering how insanely corrupt the Rat/RINO uniparty is today, I would put absolutely nothing by them. This is a double solely put in place solely to hide from the public just how messed up she is....

I don’t see why that undermines the rule of law, when the Constitution authorizes State legislators to provide any method they want for appointing electors. They could pass a law providing for electors to be chosen by a coin flip, by an arm wrestling contest, or by the Prime Minister of Sweden if they want. They are just accountable to the voters, who, hopefully, would vote them out if they did something that stupid. Just as Virginia’s voters should punish their own legislators.
