I’m thinking the master bedroom with attached bath. The tub doesn’t drain but can’t help that. It has cleaning supplies and meds and the linen closet has plenty of clean sheets and wash cloths. Need to put more tp in there.
AC and heat can be turned off.
Their clothes would need to be brought in and ours out.
There are plenty of windows. One window is on the porch so that would be used to deliver meals. I don’t like it on the porch and next to the back door but the other windows are too high and out of reach.
The door to the bedroom can have a sheet of plastic covering it to block drafts. Yeah, going Wuhan and sealing them in. Also, have one of those door drafts for under the door (every little bit helps).
Would need to move in a computer. There’s a chair but no room for a computer table. Maybe they could dump books from the bookcase. Will think on this.
There’s a phone in the bedroom and the bathroom. There’s a bookcase but would add more books. Will add playing cards and a “Hoyle’s”, paper and pencils, a spare ceiling light bulb, there’s a battery charger and a couple flashlights but will add more batteries today. Need to see if there’s any old electronic games around. There’s plenty of candles but need to arrange a safe place for matches.
Thinking the garbage could be a problem.
What else?
There’s a tv in the bedroom.
The garbage gets tied up and goes out the window, esp if the person is well enough to tie it up. No need for anyone else to touch it. Let it pile up. Deal with it later. Have them also put soiled linen and clothes in the bag. Burn it all later.
My wife is on chemo. I had a bad cold. I am pretty much living this life right now. We are watching the race, sitting 2 meters apart. Lol.

You could consider additional sealed areas. For example our main bedroom has about a 3 foot area as entry to the bedroom, with closets on each side. So We could put plastic at the end of that area as well as the door.
In addition, another plastic hung about 3 foot from the door in the hallway. That way, if I had to go into the room, I could wear layers. First layer comes off in the entry way. 2cnd layer comes off in hallway enclosure. So forth.
It’s hard to really isolate at home because there’s no way to really keep the air totally inside the room—hospitals have special airflows set up for that.
I think also about making sure that the immune system is supported. Adequate sleep is one important requirement and nutrition/vitamins to help be in good shape before exposure.
And don’t forget chicken soup—bone broth soup with lots of garlic and star anise. You could put a crock pot in the room and disposable cups and the patient could drink the broth when wanted. Also need plenty of hydration-water and popsycles are good.
Get all surface areas cleared as much as possible, so that it can be wiped down frequently with wipes which kill corona virus. Plenty of handwashing needed. Patient should wear a mask to help keep from spreading it. Caregiver also wears a N95 or N100 mask and goggles, gloves etc. Plenty of hand cleaner, soap and tissues etc.
If you run out of protective gear—improvise. I’m thinking trash bag clothes with duct tape and there are vids showing how to make your own masks and facial shields.
That’s about all I can think of for now.
