The Las Vegas Raiders have been rumored to be interested in Tom Brady, and a report emerged indicating they may pay handsomely to land the future Hall of Fame quarterback.
Veteran NFL reporter Larry Fitzgerald Sr., the father of the Arizona Cardinals receiver, provided this interesting nugget on Friday:
Im told Las Vegas is prepared to offer @TomBrady $60 million over 2 years.
Now, $30 million a year isnt exactly top dollar these days, and there are reports that $40 million a year could soon be reached for another top QB.

After Cam Newton crybaby antics after he lost the Superbowl, I lost total complete respect for the man.
At this point, the Raiders are such mediocre team (7-9) and Gruden is such a mediocre coach, that it’s hard to imagine any reason why Brady would want to play for them other than $$$ and location. The Raiders are not a Super Bowl-caliber organization and he’s not going to singlehandedly change that. This isn’t analogous to Joe Montana and Marcus Allen going to the Chiefs in 1993 and ending up in the AFC championship. The Chiefs had been a 10-6 in 1992, with a good coach with Marty Schottenheimer and a top-flight defense led by Derrick Thomas. The Raiders right now are the epitome of a mediocre organization, from top to bottom.
No!
Take that money and get the best offensive line and a hell of a nasty bulldozing fullback-you know, the old style run em over type. Add a good defense to boot.
Then keep your Q’back to throw when you have to.
They cant figure it out.. Lombardi took a average team and won all those championships how? He had exactly what I described above.
Capitalism, supply and demand. ....it’s a good thing.
I read that about five years is the length of the average career. Often times ending in lifelong injuries.
Why would another $30 mil be tempting to one who has multiple millions and who is guaranteed $30 mill already?
What can you do with $60 mil that you cannot do with $30 mil?
Buy another dozen houses? A bigger yacht?
Don’t think Brady will be tempted by the money.
What he will want in the future is 1. An offensive line that can protect him; 2. Top receivers that can catch for him. 3. A strong defense.
Without those, he is doomed to failure and the money will mean nothing.
Las Vegas Raiders???
When did they move from Oakland?
no state income tax in Nevada! Top that Mass and California.....
Gisele Caroline Bündchen is not going to live in Las Vegas. The Brady/Bündchen’s don’t care about little things like income taxes dictating where they live. If that was the case they would have lived in NH for the last 20 years.

Tom Brady will be a free agent in a couple of weeks. He has no contract with the Patriots and no guarantee at this moment.
Brady and Drew B., Rivers? Who else is basically done? At least Eli did it the right way. Why drag it out?
But he still would of paid Mass taxes since that is where he worked.
This year. First year in LV is this upcoming season.
Next you’ll be telling me the Colts moved from Baltimore.
No, but the Pats want him back (who can do better than a 12-4 record?), team & fans & owner love him - and he loves them.
Cannot see him leaving.........
I saw how much people pay for seats at the Super Bowl....that’s as insane as the players salaries.
Well, yeah. But, this is the Raiders.
Logic does not apply.
They don’t think so. And it’s their money and their decision and you should probably get over it.
Imagine the money he could make working for Fox...CBS...the NFL Network.
