The HGTV show House Hunters featured its first Throuple, or polyamorous couple, on its show Wednesday night.
A Throuple is a relationship made up of three people. In this case, two women and a man named Lori, Geli, and Brian. The couple has two children, who are biologically related to Brian and Lori.
In the episode, the trio describes their ideal home as one that has a three-car garage, a master bedroom that fits three people, and room for the two children. While looking at a houses kitchen, Lori remarked on its size as a couples kitchen, not a throuples kitchen.
The episode describes to viewers how the couple met. Brian and Lori were legally married and met Geli at a bar, where they fell in love with her. Brian and Lori subsequently exchanged vows in a commitment ceremony, which their children attended.
“Throuple” is just another word for “Polygamy”.
Well ain’t that special...
But Mormons are bad?
My wife likes to watch House Hunters International on this network, a straight white couple is now a minority, either the couple is mixed race or same sex on a regular basis.
“In the episode, the trio describes their ideal home as one that has a three-car garage...”
Otherwise called a menage
I remember watching a polyamory documentary around 2015 that had started filming in 2010. It followed 6x “throuples” for 5 years and the relationship development. None were left intact by the end except one “couple” where the third party had left. The other 5 had no intact relationships. Meaningful relationships just don’t thrive in that dynamic.
So the kids are “biologically-related” to Lori and Brian, huh? IOW, the kids’ mother and father are Lori and Brian, without any input from the third wheel.
LOL!
Could you imagine the stink feminists would make if a famous Hollywood personality went on national television and told the world that he was tired of the same old woman week in and week out so he was going to stay married but roam around?
Face it, the world is changing and the Progressives are winning the moral argument. Decades of indoctrination are paying off and society is the loser.
Not to mention that half of the house hunters seem to be gay dudes. This show clearly has an agenda so I have stopped watching.
The debasing of our culture continues.
God, bless the female gender but, isn’t one woman, trouble enough?
I never watch those episodes.
Used yo love HGTV. Since the LGBTs have taken over I hardly watch any more. It’s no longer about home and garden. Now it’s about gay couples. I’ve been so done with this channel.
Wonder if I can talk my wife into a Throuple. Im working on the interview process as I post this........
They are gradually getting me angry.
The LGBT presence on the collective set of shows they run is becoming more and more of promoting “LBGT” than merely not excluding some LGBT persons.
... “mixed race” is just fine. I actually love seeing multi-ethnic couples, and feel it demonstrates humanity’s acceptance, maybe even celebration, of God’s creativity.
“Same-sex” couples, on the other hand ... ugh.
The first Male-Male skating couple just got voted out of Dancing on Ice, which is hosted by Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield (see post 10). As part of their goodbye speech they said “Strictly, you’re next.” They are talking about Strictly Come Dancing, which is the model for Dancing with the Stars. Once Strictly goes Gay expect to see it in America.
