Sickening! Deep State Inspector GeneralThis One Trying to Screw Veterans
Democrats trying to kill successful VA healthcare...what would they do with yours? We all remember the Obama years when veterans were dying while waiting for healthcare at VA hospitals. Some lived so far away from treatment centers it would take them hours to get there and back. Bogus waiting lists were being presented while the real ones were buried in some bureaucrats desk drawer. The solution was a program Veterans Choice where disabled veterans were allowed to seek treatment close to home. If they lived forty miles from a treatment center they were automatically eligible, as were veterans who had to wait over thirty days for care.Guess who didnt like this change? Every VA bureaucrat in the system. Guess who else didnt like it? Democrats who count on a massive federal employee union for votes. Add in contractors who skin the taxpayer with double and triple cost overruns for new construction of VA facilities and you have quite a group cheering for the failure of Veterans Choice.

The draining of the swamp needs to be done immediately. Throw the bums out.
Every time you scroll down on the source page, it switched to some expletive story about ragheads!@
Wow. Didn’t realize it was this deep.
Oh. Wait. Bernie Sanders. Senator. responsible for vet health care under Obama’s term, wasn’t he? Maybe he has some ideas about how to fix this!
I worked at a VA contract clinic for seven years while Choice was implemented. It took a while but it eventually worked well. The VA employees who are themselves veterans (and there are a LOT of them) were great to work with. The non-veteran bureaucrats are the worst. Those are the ones that need to go.
I believe many working in the VA system despise veterans. It is similar to locals in tourist-crowded areas despising tourists...but the tourists keep their crappy little, quaint towns alive. Anyone working in the VA system who doesn’t show veterans the respect they deserve should be fired.
I experienced the only health crisis of my 62 years last summer. I probably wouldn’t be writing this post if not for the VA hospital in Bay Pines, near Tampa.
I’m much better now, still dealing with some pain but definitely on the mend, albeit with a 40-pound weightloss and a lot of lifestyle changes.
About the only bad thing I can say is that I wanted to sign on as a volunteer but seem to have been lost in the shuffle. Oh well, maybe later ...
The picture at the front of this story is part of my story. These WWII veterans formed the Paralyzed Veterans of America, a Congressionally charter organization that seeks to holsdo the government accountable for their promises to returning soldiers and sailors.
ALVIN YORK AND THE IRS
(5 MINUTE VIDEO PRODUCED IN 2014 BUT STILL CURRENT)
TRUMP HAS MADE IT BETTER, BUT GOVERNMENT ABUSE OF THOSE WHO SERVED - EVEN DISTINGUISHED HEROES - IS NOTHING NEW!
IT MUST NOT HAPPEN AGAIN — BUT IT CONTINUES!

Worked at 2 VA in the 80’s and they were horrible.
At one a blind patient was schedule to have a procedure to restore the sight in one of his eyes. That morning right before the surgery the anesthesiologist said he was to tired to do it!
So as a female I used the resources I had available. I started to cry! The patient got his surgery. LOL. You do what you gotta do for our Vets!
Two newer coworkers have relatives who finally got their dream job: nurses with Masters degrees working at VA hospitals as managers. CUSH JOBS with plenty of time to do nothing on the job. from their sisters’ mouths. MAKES ME SICK. the one who still works here wants a government job so bad...
Nurses are getting a Ph.D in nursing now and calling themselves “Dr.” Many patients think they are MDs!
OMG! The IRS went after Sergeant York?
Kennedy’s IRS?
It would be interesting to view history with the eyes and the media abilities we have now.
Thx for the post.
They did a hidden camera on a quadriplegic patient. The nurses, who knew he couldn't move, would drop off his food tray, come back an hour later and say " I guess you're not hungry."
His fellow patients had to feed him!!!!
My respect for our military was high when I worked there. Later during the Iraq war when I volunteered on the Amputation Ward 52, The Snake Pit, at Walter Reed, it went thru the roof!!
What these people sacrifice for us is amazing. And how grossly a chunk of elites abuse us and them is equally amazing.(and disgusting.)
