Hillary Clinton declared Tuesday that democracy is “in crisis” amid the withdrawal of prosecutors from the case against Roger Stone after senior leaders at the Justice Department (DOJ) effectively overruled the prosecutors' judgment by seeking a lesser sentence for President Trump's former adviser.
Clinton, a former secretary of state and the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, bemoaned the departure of the DOJ prosecutors on the same day of the Republican-controlled Senate’s move to block three election security-related bills. Four prosecutors withdrew from the case, and at least one resigned from the Justice Department.
“The rule of law & our democracy are in crisis,” Clinton tweeted.

One has to admit it is pretty encouraging to hear that people at the DOJ who are not named “Barr” are being fired.

The words “rule of law” coming out of Clinton’s mouth are like precious jewels bedecking swine.
She’s got a lot of nerve considering the Stone prosecution was one eventual result of the anti-Trump institutional soft coup that she helped set in motion.

Got news for you, Hillary. Democracy has been “in-crisis” since you and your husband fired all the US attorneys the week your husband took office in 1993. Those prosecutors in the Roger Stone case were beating a dead horse, and they knew it. They are trying to get away from a loser case before it sucks their careers under. Totally different situation.
Democracy was thrown into crisis when you were not put in prison for the multitude of laws you broke as SoS, HillaryIdiot!!! How about stfu already....

Has anyone else noticed that Democrats, the MSM and some Republicans refer to America as a democracy? Willful propaganda in most cases, and inexcusable ignorance for the rest. We are and have always been a Republic.

Hillary Clinton broke the law and federal investigators know it. They claim that they did not pursue charges because they were fans, er “she di’n’t mean to break the law again and again and lie and destroy documents etc.”
The prosecutors in the Stone case were corrupt and vindictive. They lied to DOJ about what punishment they were seeking and brazenly pushed ahead to attack Trump thru Stone. This was a manufactured process crime that should have never been pursued. Hopefully, Barr will revisit all of the Mueller prosecutions, which are the fruit of a poisonous tree. Weissmann needs to be investigated and censured.
