After what happened in 2000, I’ve made sure to never leave any stray marks on my ballot.
I don’t trust poll workers. I watched our downtown City Hall office have an HBCU black band play there on election day 2008 for the Fraud.
It burns me that our mailman can tell our party from our mail-in ballots, so I only let them see it on the delivery, and bring ours to the PO drop box when completed.

The band was just outside the window of the polling place with people voting and LOUD.
Pretty sure there’s a law against campaiging at a polling place, but everything about that “presidency” was a lie and illegal.

I agree. I would be worried that my ballot would be thrown out for “stray marks”. Or put into a “provisional” pile, which would be selectively counted.

It would have spoiled the ballot when I was doing elections 30 years ago. I don’t know if things have changed since then.
