These quotes explain why it is *completely* appropriate to intersperse the clip of Nancy tearing up the speech with the clips of Trump recognizing people and talking about the great state of the economy. She called the entire speech a lie; therefore, she called those people a lie and the great economy a lie. She *was* tearing up all of that. Perhaps she should have thought through the optics a little bit more before deciding to tear up the speech. If she is upset now at having it pointed out exactly what she tore up, I have no sympathy for her--she brought it entirely on herself.

She has very poor impulse control, and is consumed by hate.

She pre-tore each sheet anyways, and did it with intent to be dramatic. She thought it would portray her as a heroine opposing the ogre Trump. She absolutely wanted the theatrics, but never thought these childish actions could be used against her as much as for her.

Her supporters are just crying about whose ox was gored. Believe me, if they could use this against Trump by altering parts of his speech, they’d be on it like white on rice.
