“Dire coronavirus warnings from Britian’s top experts”

Leading virologists and infectious disease specialists met at a hastily organized meeting by the respected Science Media Centre in London on Friday amid the escalating outbreak.

They made a series of dire warnings about the disease, including:

*A vaccine will not be ready until at least 2021

*Even if we eradicate the virus in the next few months it could re-emerge in winter

*And outbreak in late 2020 could be devastating for NHS staff juggling winter crises

*The death of a seemingly healthy Chinese doctor in his 30’s raises fears it may have ability to kill people with strong immune systems

*Don’t be fooled by a decrease in confirmed cases in the last few days - this could be a lack of man power and errors in cataloging them in China

*The virus may be spread to babies from pregnant mothers during childbirth

*Cases are at least 10 times higher than the current 31,000 being reported

or more likely running out of test kits. Many people are sealed in so there is no point in testing them, still thousands of others are sealed in quarantine camps so no point in testing them either. naturally the confirmed cases will drop, but that does not equate into few infection cases

So, if 310,000 cases then at 2% case fatality rate = 6,200 deaths. Or at the current 40,000 cases, it would be 400,000 cases, then at 2% = 8,000 deaths.

After two full months of unimpeded travel to the US from China, how is it we have only 12 confirmed cases. The weeks long transmission period of those thousands of potentially infected Chinese occurred while they were here. I’m not trying to downplay caronavirus but did anyone suspect only 12 cases to date 3 weeks ago? I don’t believe the US government is fudging the statistics.
