You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.
Solution to our last puzzle:
THE QUIETER YOU BECOME, THE MORE YOU ARE ABLE TO HEAR. -RUMI

That one sounds familiar :-)
Got it.
About 2 min.
First word plus double letter in 6th word unlocks the puzzle.
3 min. False start on contraction. *Usually* a 4-letter contraction ends in ..N’T but not this one.
Get that, and a word on the second line with three of the same letter, and you’re off to the races.

SHANKS!
Easy peasy. 1 minute
First two words. Then next three words. Presto!
About 4 minutes. I made a false start with the contraction, but then I noticed that magical word with 2 double letters... =)
FISNS did it for me, but once I saw PZOOSPP I kicked myself for taking too long.

There is an ECHO in this room or is it double your pleasure, double your fun????
I can not agree with her.
It seems to be a play on BOs ‘you didn’t build this’.
In the tone it was said may be somewhat ‘true’ BUT not the way it is interpreted by many.
Somewhat like Clintons(??) the REAL Draft Dodgers are those that joined the Navy and Marines rather than get drafted in the Army.
While it may be a somewhat true statement, it is not true in the way he presented it (as to his own dodging)
Two minutes. Theres an art to solving these.
i posted the wrong puzzle period. please c post number 3
I wish you hadnt, the second one is taking longer. ;-)
