After the meltdown at the Iowa caucuses, Democrats fear a repeat in Nevada (still counting)

LAS VEGAS - The week of chaos that followed the Iowa caucuses has prompted growing concern about problems in the next state to use that presidential nominating process, Nevada.

Voters and campaigns have become increasingly mistrustful of the caucus format since the Iowa vote and are worried that further trouble could throw the Democrats’ 2020 primary process into complete disarray. In Nevada, those fears have only deepened since the state’s Democratic Party was forced to make abrupt changes to its caucus process because it had planned to use an iPad app developed by the same company that developed the mobile application used in Iowa.

Top Nevada Democratic Party officials have tried to assure nervous Democratic voters that their fears are overblown. “Our main objective is running the most expansive, transparent and accessible caucus that ensures Nevadans’ voices are heard,” said Molly Forgey, a spokeswoman for the Nevada State Democratic Party.

But despite that show of confidence, multiple Democrats said that the influential former Senate majority leader Harry M. Reid (Nev.) has been working to soothe candidate concerns about potential caucus drama. Many of his former aides are working for different campaigns nationally and here in Nevada.

“In Nevada, we have built the best state party operation in the country,” Reid said in a Twitter message posted Tuesday. “I am 100% confident that what happened in Iowa will not happen in Nevada.”

Buttplug is polling in the 7% range for Nevada, so his only shot at solidly winning is the caucus using this mobile app

as long as those fools report the precinct data the low-tech way like they always have, they should have no trouble ... the media is trying to set a fake low bar of expectation so that when everything turns out OK in Nevada(as they know it will), the media can then exult with joy about how competent the Democrats are after all ... it’s totally fake news to pretend like the same thing might happen in Nevada that happened in Iowa ...

an iPad app developed by the same company that developed the mobile application used in Iowa.”””

Where is that company defending the app or being questioned about it by the media?

The apps work as designed. The DNC skews the results in a way that weakens Bernie and strengthens their handpicked choice.

The 2016 Nevada Democratic “love fast” was a complete debacle—as Hillary’s witch brigade stole everything that wasn’t nailed down—Bernie should expect more of the same this year.

If true..things to come in 2020! A trial run for the presidential election..confusion, machine manipulation, disorder..the kicker..the winner will NOT be announced until weeks later!! Don’t for one minute think the rats are not cleverly planning for such chaos!! Also I hear antifa were on a tear yesterday causing havoc without resistance from law enforcement..this is maddening and sad! Sessions should have declared this organization as a terrorist group looooong ago when he was AG...instead Sessions was hiding under his bed scared chitless of the evil demonKKKrats! This group should have been nipped in the butt!! Now they are growing bigger and very emboldened! Betcha under those masks there are a whole bunch of illegals along with middle eastern disrupters! Think about it!

“campaigns have become increasingly mistrustful of the caucus format..”

This means the DNC doesn’t trust their voters.

In order to finish on time, Nevada should just start counting now. Plenty of time.

the DNC doesn’t trust their voters.

I thought Adam Schiff already said that they can't rely on actual election results, so impeachment had to happen.

The Iowa Democratic Caucus Debacle is a microcosm of what the entire USA would be like if the American People were stupid enough to let the Democrats seize control of it.

The contrast with the highly puissant, highly intelligent, and profoundly moral President Donald Trump is obvious,

And it is heartening to all benevolent, honest, intelligent people in this dangerous world.
