Not sure of what generation you’re from, but starting at the Baby Boomer generation, most of the ‘honeymoon effect’ was long-gone by the wedding ceremony.

Youth is wasted on the young. Yes, and they only had 11 years to live remaining anyway due to climate change. At worst, they beat the rush.
