Their church is working its way down from a mighty 3% of the population to a whopping 1%. Way to go!
It’s impossible to be Rev.....and homosexual, at least in the eyes of God.
A social club for retirement age feminists.
{yawn} That is so 2010. Let me know when the first male lesbian leads their diocese.
Her justification is Jesus said absolutely nothing about homosexuality. What a religious leader. She can just ignore the numerous passages where homosexuality is condemned, and then declare that Jesus condones homosexuality because he never mentioned it.
I do feel sorry for people with homosexual leanings, but in the quaint old Catholic church this would be called your cross to bear in your life......something that you have to control.
Well isn’t that special
:/
Not good on any measure. Not at all.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the Head of His church. He is the Shepherd, His sheep know His name and they come to Him. The lesbian bishop is not one of the Lord’s ministers but rather a new pagan temple priest of powers and principalities whose work is to separate men from Jesus Christ.
The cancer continues to spread, eroding every foundation built
A: Both of them....
On the contrary, no true Church of Jesus Christ has to struggle with these issues in the least.
If youre struggling, youre counterfeit.
When you literally define your person by what you do with your crotch you cannot be right and God-fearing.
Satan wins another...
Jesus said absolutely nothing about homosexuality,
He didn’t specifically mention a host of sins: he already had Leviticus and the whole of Jewish law that condemned other sins and homosexuality.
But what He did say repeatedly was “Go and sin no more.”
People are not worshiping God in these churches..they are worshiping homos.
Here’s a hint: if an organization is “struggling” how to best accommodate a constituency that celebrates sinfulness as their defining attribute, it ain’t a Christian organization. A Christian organization would be ministering to those struggling to overcome their sinful impulses.
Note that they specify the first female lesbian. Because males can be lesbians too, right? /sarc
No big deal. Gay men have been Bishops in the Catholic Church for centuries.
