What is the one talking point the Democrats love to say about Trump? “He colluded with Putin. He’s a Russian stooge. He gets his orders from Putin.” Etc. Etc. So imagine if Bernie Sanders gets the nomination. He loves communism so much that he vacationed in THE SOVIET UNION of all places, lol!
The Democratic stealth socialists can’t afford to have a real one at the head of the party. He is blowing their cover.
It is an excellent point. However, if Bernie is the nominee, the Dems and Media will just shrug and say it does not matter.
If the Republican party has any balls at all (and I often doubt it), there is so much stacked up against the Democrats that we could have both serious and hilarious Super Bowl level political ads each and every day that would ridicule the party of clods.
The slime molds are searching day in and day out to make up some more lies on the Trumpster to hopefully counter the tsunami that is hopefully coming.
Everyone knows the Dems and the media are duplicitous on Russia.
If Sanders becomes nominee, the level of duplicity will become epic, but it will be easy pickins for Trump, during rallys, and during debates. Way too easy to just bring up “Russia Russia Russia” and then ask why all of Bernie’s ties to Russia and communism are okay and why no one is asking if he is Putin’s stooge.

Actually its because the Democrat Donors on Wall Street have said they won’t be sending any money to the DNC or Sanders.

They opposed Sanders in 2016, before the Russian Collusion Hoax.
Sanders would transform the DNC into the new communist party. The stealth socialists and graft lovers (Bidens) would be pushed asiide and the rules of the game would change.
RINOs and Grafting Dems do not want the rules to change radically...they are benefitting from the system they constructed over the past 100 years.
Your mistake, of course, is in thinking the Democrats see Russia like they saw the Soviet Union.
They loved the Soviet Union because it was communist. In fact they still love the Soviet Union...but modern Russia, not so much. They consider Putin’s Russia basically fascist. This is because Russia resists the gay agenda and is friendly towards the Orthodox church.
So while honeymooning in Moscow in 2020 would have been an instant disqualifier for the Dim nomination, having done so in 1981 (or whenever it was) is in fact a resume enhancement.
They are frightened of having him at the head of the party because he is a terrible candidate. He makes Bob Dole and Mitt Romney look like political superstars. He is their new George McGovern. He is also a rich, old, white guy; the antithesis of what they said they want. Ideally, their candidate would be a trans black, “woman” named Hiawatha Lopez.
I don’t think the rank and file “low information voter” style Dems have any idea just how bad Sanders was and is. He hates America.
Beyond that the country in a majority reject communism, thus they have no chance of winning the election and removing President Trump. The Democrat Party has no issue with being coupled with Putin, because the press will dispel that narrative and they know it. It’s all about regaining power to undo President Trump’s successes in making America great again. President Trump has been so successful in making Americans less dependent on big government, that is why they fear Bernie. He just can’t win a national election.
Yet, the DNC has locked Tulsi out of tonight’s debate in Manchester, NH even though she pols higher than two other candidates that are included.
I would think Tulsi would be one of the candidates they would be supporting. FYI, I am not I love with Tulsi just because she looks good on TV with soft focus and a lot of makeup.
However, she is a woman.

The only thing I figure is that HER THIGHGNESS has said NO MAS and black balled her.

You could model the Democratic party as a mental patient with multiple personalities.
The party went whole-hog with identity politics. But the identities do not identify with each other. Each victim group is only interested in itself. The woman’s group is probably the weakest one politically. None of the groups rise to a majority. They are a bunch of angry tomcats stuffed into a cage together.
I don’t think the DNC will allow Bernie to get the nomination. I am still thinking that Hillary will be resurrected to “save the party”, at the last possible minute for her to not need to campaign, but to be on the ballot in November.
They are in a bit of a tough spot right now, IMHO, with no “viable candidate” in the pack.
