A outdoor cat will take care of the chipmunks but you need to be ready for two things. One is that your cat will bring you torn up but still live chipmunks. This is their way of trying to teach you to hunt. The second is that you should only let your cat out when you are with him. There are many dangers for our feline friends out there and many of them walk on two legs.

I find mice in my yard with their heads ripped off from the neighbors cat. Cant figure that one out.seems like they would eat the whole thing.
