The Rolling Stones are revving up their lucrative rock ‘n’ roll machine once again: The iconic band has locked in a round of summer stadium shows.

The Stones unveiled the 2020 leg of their No Filter Tour, a 15-city run that will kick off May 8 in San Diego and traverse the continent before wrapping up July 9 in Atlanta.

Rolling Stones tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 14 (local time in each market). A presale for American Express card holders will run 10 a.m. Feb. 12 through 10 p.m. Feb. 13.

Six decades on, a Rolling Stones show remains one of the time-tested customs in rock. The band’s 17-show outing last summer grossed more than $178 million to top the year's North American box-office chart.

After 57 years they are STILL the highest grossing live show in the world, whenever they tour.

There's a reason for that.

Yes, this will be the last time...

In the olden days their tours would be 100 or more shows.

In fact, at some points in their storied career they have spent 3 continuous years on the road.

Imagine that, if you will.

It’s obvious you haven’t seen them perform and have no intention of doing so.

I had a young man from England on my crew at a Summer retreat. This was 1994. He was from Liverpool and knew a lot about the British groups.

He could not stand Jagger. I am not fond of the Rolling Stones tho they did have a few I liked.

I’ve seen the Stones several times. They always put on a good show.

LOL you have a point. Seen them 5 times, which is less than Metallica, and that’s enough. But I would rather watch the Stones than U2, and at least the Stones tone down their liberal crap than the hypocrites of U2.

I hope that they have open caskets available, just in case.

I’m with you pal. No hits in 40 years, and outside of some big screens and fireworks, watching grandpas acting 25 is rather embarassing....especially at $200 a ticket.

When Charlie Watts was born, the U.S. hadn’t yet entered WWII.

You can thank the record companies for killing the concert circuit.

You youngsters don’t know what you missed.

The Stones should have taken Keith Moon's advice...and followed his example: "hope I die before I get old"

The Stones were just about the best through "Sticky Fingers".

After that? No thanks!

I saw them in El Paso many years ago, mid 80s I think. Great show, though I wouldn't rank it as the best I'd ever seen.

That honor goes to the second night of the Eric Clapton Crossroads Guitar Festival, Dallas, 9/21/19. I paid about $150 for my ticket, went solo. No one in my family wanted to go with me...wife, daughter, two sons...lol. So I went solo.

Concert started at 4 PM, ended at 12:15. Incredible! Clapton made a few brief appearances here and there, most notably with Los Lobos, playing the guitar solo on "Made to Break Your Heart."

The performances were incredible, and the emcee for the extravaganza was Bill Murray. Clapton's encore song was "Purple Rain."

Sorry to go O/T.

My wife bought us tickets to see Kiss last year. We are 58. . Missed the concert thought because my wife got a really bad viral lung infection.

If seeing these old groups make us feel 18 again for 2 hours and forget what’s going on in the world then hey I’m all for it.
