Debating current events keeps him young? Freepers should live forever then.

I’m a 66 Year Old Geezer and I’m getting teased by the Family because I have a 2020 Corvette Convertible on order.

They don’t start Manufacturing the Convertible Models until the beginning of April, so hopefully I’ll get it before my 67th Birthday in July, or at least before I kick the bucket.

He probably said Kirk Douglas was short lived.

When my grandmother was in her 90s she'd start the day with the obituaries and she'd read some of them aloud for some reason. I remember she'd say "Joe Blow passed away at the age of 86" and stop and say with mock seriousness "he was a very young man" :-)

Are you getting one of the new mid-engine models?

A friend of ours has one on order as well.

Wanted a C7 but my son told I was not old enough, fat enough or bald enough to own a Vette so I passed.

Good thing too- he green lighted a C8

She passed away at the age of 100 years. My favorite obituary she ever read said “Mary Jones, Age 90, Churchgoer and Driver” and she put the paper down, smiled and said “that’s how I want to be remembered”

Wow. I've been wondering at what age would I have to give up my sports cars.

I've got 50 more years!

He was born in 1913.

Can you imagine what all he has witnessed in his lifetime?

WWI, The Roaring 20’s, Prohibition, Gangster Wars, The Great Depression, The Hindenburg, Pearl Harbor, WWII............

I know, it’s amazing.

He’s a wealth of knowledge. Hope he wrote down his observations over the years. Hell of a story for his family...

The 2020 is the first year of the Mid Engine Platform. At $59,995 for the Base Model, it’s a steal IMHO.

I owned a 2014 Coupe which was also the first year of that particular Platform.

Originally ordered the 2020 Coupe with the Targa Top. Then those SOB’s came out with the Convertible Version with the power folding Hardtop...

Had to have it, so there went my planned Budget. It will probably be the last Car I will buy for myself, so I figured I might as well go for it.

It’s as close as I will ever get to owning a European Mid Engine Spyder, unless I hit the Lottery. If that happened, I would be getting a $300,000 F-8 Ferrari.

Yah, but he witnessed WWI like I witnessed the Edsel production years. Like from the Hi-chair in diapers.

I had a C4 Convertible back in the 90’s when I was just Middle Aged.

Bought my C-7 when they first came out the end of 2013. Had the Z-51 Performance Package, Magnetic Ride, Competition Seats, just about everything.

This time around I’m going for comfort and style. Won’t be Tracking the Car so no need for the Z-51 Performance Package.

It will be Black with the upgraded Natural Interior and Napa Leather GT2 Seats. I was going to cheap out and save myself some money, but I changed my mind and decided I might as well get everything I want.

I’m old, I’ve been fighting Leukemia for 14 Years, Trump is my President and I have no other Vices, so why not go for it?
