Mitt,
I voted for you but alas ..... read the internet. By clothing your vote to remove Trump from office in our shared religion and even God himself, you have painted all LDS people as petty and anti-conservative.
By voting for this highly partisan presidential removal and ignoring the corruption which it grew from, you have effectively 'strained at a gnat and swallowed a camel'.
As the highest profile member of our church, people now associate your documented anti-Trump bias with anti-american/anti-conservative bias and consequently our church.
Enjoy your moment of being toasted in the 'Tall and Spacious Building' in Lehi's dream.
Very good.
Romney is the new hero of the day for the MSNBC crowd. This adulation will last for a few days , then they will go back to hating him anyway.
Foolish, because he's told me all I need to know about the Republicans for after Trump leaves the scene.
Screw the Repukes. I'm never voting "lesser of two evils" after Trump.
For those who are curious about the ‘Tall and Spacious Building’ in Lehi’s dream, it is a reference from the Book of Mormon containing a revelation which a Prophet of God named Lehi in the year +/-600 bc recieved which is known as Lehi’s ‘Tree of Life’ dream.
In the dream, the Tree of Life is the love of God, which is a representation of Christ’s sacrifice and atonement.
The ‘Large and Spacious Building’ is a representation of the love and pride of the world and is a contrasting opposite of the ‘Tree of Life’.
Well done.
I do hope the citizens of Utah pass the state bill allowing Romney to be recalled. Mitt was never a conservative, and the folks in Utah need to realize that fact. Are Mormons conservative? The rest of the country will be watching.
My sincere counsel to you today is to remember the good basic principles we have been taught from the very beginningprinciples of thrift, industry, and integrity that have served mankind in every period of time. Avoid the great and spacious building that is the pride of the world, for it will fall, and great will be the fall thereof. (L. Tom Perry)
Yes, teppe - yours was a good and thoughtful post.
Too bad that Schiff's monkey Milt didn't think of the extreme blowback for his religion.
But Milt has never struck me as particularly bright when it comes to his interactions with the larger world outside of his own interests.
Those of us who read our Bibles know about Joseph’s dreams. But of Lehi and his dream we find no such in the Bible. Lehi?
Thank you for your post, unfortunately Mitt does hold himself as a representative of LDS people
“Mitt, I voted for you...”
Sucker.
No mention of cureloms or star Kolob in the Bible, either.
Lehi’s dream is from the Book of Mormon. As LDS we believe that both the Bible as well as the Book of Mormon are inspired scripture recorded by ancient Prophets of God.
It is a reference which Mitt Romney will be intimately familiar with .... I sent this note to his US Senator website.
Surprise .... God is not limited by the Bible. I’m sorry that you think that he is.
Thanks for posting. I hope you actually send it to him!
As an apparently faithful LDS member, what is your take on the situation? Are most Mormons buying the line that it is Romneys faith that moved him to side with the Democrats? Does he have the support of the LDS hierarchy?
I did send the email to his website.
Everyone who is LDS that I know (and I know a lot of them) is very disillusioned and frankly disgusted with Mitt Romney and the whole impeachment mess.
I don’t think the LDS people in Utah will re-elect him.

Is there a good Mormon with eyes to discern among them? Thats the vast majority in all recent Morons in Congress (minus one or two).
