Laurence Fox recently tested the hysterical and repressive attitude of once tolerant members of the Liberal elite by wearing a Trump "MAGA" red baseball cap to a Sunday lunch in a trendy part of London (Dulwich).
Whereas a hat bearing a communist hammer & sickle or picture of Fidel Castro would likely have passed without mention despite representing murderous dictatorial regimes that repressed human rights and political opposition, Fox's Trump hat elicited near hysterical responses from passersby and those attending his luncheon.

I’ve really enjoyed this actor in the PBS “Victoria” series as Foreign Secretary Lord Palmerston.
Me too. Palmerston is a jerk who you love to keep watching. Like JR Ewing was.

But we would do well to recognize the Left’s successful march through the institutions. In particular academia, media, and entertainment.

Oh, absolutely. I completely agree with that, they HAVE had great success there.
But we are the adults in the room, and as such, we should NEVER surrender the high ground.
They are the ones trying to rip this country apart, and we are the people defending our unique American Culture, heritage, traditions, and excellence.
He’s great in “Victoria”. I’ll definitely seek out his other projects now.
The real life Palmerston was an older man in the 1850s but arguably it's better theater to have a younger actor play the role.
Fox is the son of actor James Fox and related to other British showbiz celebs.

So he discovered that liberals are hypocrites? Uh ... that’s pretty old news to most conservatives.
A fan since he played Hathaway in Inspector Lewis, I follow him on Twitter. Awhile back he was posting pictures of his cute dogs, going to pick up leftover lasagna from his parents’ house (that was hilarious) or about his movie roles. Then he started quoting conservative writers that we on FR like, plus making brave conservative statements. Even before the interview that exploded into huge controversy, I was impressed that he was so bold.
The Fox family of actors show up in most UK TV dramas. Hope he and they still get hired!
