With the Super Bowl comes a slew of commercials vying for viewers' attention. During advertising's biggest night, companies and organizations forked over up to $5.6 million for 30 seconds with nearly 100 million people tuning into the big game.
This year, Hyundai and Jeep made the "best of" list with their whimsical humor by poking fun at Boston accents and reuniting the Groundhog Day cast, Punxsutawney Phil included. Google struck heartstrings with a quiet message about aging and remembrance. Cheetos and Doritos both played off exaggerated dancing to good effect.
Meanwhile, Pop-Tarts and a Hard Rock action-movie commercial failed to connect with viewers.

But then again, the CEO probably approved the commercial.
The commercials didn’t live up to the over hype, the halftime show was the worst ever, the game was pretty good, nice to see dirty frisco get embarrassed.

Get woke. Go broke......................
No, it was not like the old Bud Light commercial days...there was a lot of creativity then. And many of them were funny. The quest for quality and craftsmanship died a long time ago in this country.

We didn’t watch the halftime sows. (sic)....................
Best I saw was Groundhog Day

Clearly Madison Avenue is in full woke mode.
The Tide Pod guy popping up in other commercials was annoying...............
Really liked the one where the mans mustache moved. Too funny. Couldn’t tell you what the commercial was about but I really thought that part was funny.
They were sending a message:
We are watching you. And when you reach a certain age ............
I am so sick of the “Girl Power” message. Sick of it.
What I saw on display, outside of the playing field, was toxic feminists.
What have we become in this country where — everything — is female centric/dominant? In keeping with corporate America and Madison Avenue, the only the thing a male is useful for, especially a White male, is to be the buffoon or foil to the stronger, wiser female.
Enough.
Bounty was funny, but I’m a sucker for a good poop joke.
There was a Super Bowl ?
The Tide ones were the most creative. Went on through most of the game. I chuckled at the Doritos with Sam Elliot. The rest except Trump’s were meh.
