I do not watch the National Anthem being butchered by “performers” personalizing it. Why are we the only nation that puts up with this crap?
I also do not listen to any games. Announcers are all lousy. Especially the sideline nitwits.
Halftime show? Forget it. Thought it was impossible to make me long for the Up With People shows. Watch second half only.
My sons and I always stand for the National Anthem. And then we may critique how much (or little) they mangled it.
Demi got a 5 out of 10. One or two more “interpretations” and she would have been banned from my house. FWIW.
