.Lo got political during her Super Bowl half time show which featured Latino children in cages who then broke into a rendition of 'Born in the USA' in what appeared to be a swipe at Donald Trump's immigration policies. Both Shakira and J.Lo put their Latina heritage front and center of the show, with the former - who was born in Colombia - taking to the stage shouting 'hola Miami!' before bringing out rapper Bad Bunny who sung in Spanish. But it was J.Lo who made the bigger statement during the latter part of her performance, when the lights rose on children including her own 11-year-old daughter Emme sat in cages - which appeared to reference Trump's hardline immigration policy that has seen children detained after attempting to cross the southern border illegally. Emme began by singing part of her song Let's Get Loud before J.Lo appeared in a giant American flag coat, which had the Puerto Rican flag on the other side.

JLo and Shakira looked like they were going to fall down several times. Way too old for this kind of stuff. They looked like idiots in my opinion.
Yeah, I missed the half-time show. On purpose. I did watch the game though. San Francisco, still not tired of losing.
For a supposedly family program, the slutty front g-string outfits were a bit much. I watched the game, first super bowl or NFL game I’ve watched in over 3 years. Only reason I watched it was because I was invited to a party down the street. Did not allow my household to get the click for ratings on my tvs.
My wife was born in Mexico. Even before we got married, we were LEGALLY going through all of the hoops to get her here as a proper/legal resident, and we immediately began the process of making her a permanent resident, on the way to becoming a citizen (which occurred about 15 years ago).
She voted for Trump, and is looking forward to doing so again...as is our 18-year-old daughter. Both of them - an immigrant and the child of an immigrant - are absolutely FOR the wall (though the spousal unit wants one on the Canadian border also, and it is hard to fault her logic), for limiting immigration in general and for throwing out those here illegally. IOW, my wife has assimilated, which many Latinos have NOT done contrary to prior waves of immigrants.
To Hell with J’lo. She is not much better than Krapernick, who is the single most visible ingrate on the planet. Both of them got rich and famous because of the system that this country has (and, yes, because of their talents also - but without the system those talents wouldn’t matter much), and they seek to undermine it or tear it down altogether. F’em, who needs these ingrates!
She’s Puerto Rican, so she’s always been a U.S. citizen, and should feel the same way about protecting our country from invaders as anyone. Guess she has more loyalty to her ethnicity than her country though.
Blame it on the NFL if it’s blamable at all.
Personally , they can play the SBs in Mejico City from now .. the audience would be able to follow the halftime show.. What world does the NFL live in anyway?
Many years ago I learned that you stand in place at attention when the Anthem was played. We were going to an Army game at West Point and we were on the stairs when the Anthem played. I thought it was cool men, women and children standing on the stairs at attention.
When I was a bit older I tried to instill that respect in my boyscouts as an adult leader.
I watched the game to see Kansas City tear the heart out of San Francisco. As for the half time show I watched Youtube, some Finns were building a teepee out of branches and Saran Wrap using a hatchet. Building shelters also an old boyscout interest, awesome and much more interesting then Jlos used up b*tt.
A benevolent dictator who otherwise respects this republic would strip such people of their citizenship (born here or not) and deport THEM.
Watched all of the game and none of the half time show.
