I would have rolled it into a more general ad with the message of “Proven Results”. In addition to criminal justice reform, mention historically low unemployment rate, rising wages, getting or allies to pull their weight, border security, killing terrorists, etc.

Consider also that he has another placement or two. AND, we are leading into the SOTU where he will theme successes.
