“Barry Lyndon”—sounds like a movie about the 1964 presidential election.
Excellent movie, underrated imho.
Excellent use of a NASA low-light moon lens for some of the candlelight scenes.

Saw the movie Barry Lyndon many years ago, but didn't recall that this music was in it.
One of the greatest movies ever made!
The piece is both powerful and elegant.
I would like to hear the first five minutes done as a Choral arrangement or even Opera.
One of my favorite Handel compositions is “Fireworks”. I’ve always thought “Fireworks” would be a great song to play live at Trumps next inaugeration. Listen to it. It will shake you up.
For years I avoided the movie because of its reputation as boring. When I did get around to seeing it I enjoyed its historic depections of the time.
Once described as the Baroque period’s Irving Berlin, I enjoy Handel the most of all Baroque composers.
(Bach a close second place). ;)
So beautiful. Thanks.
