A #POTUS whose name alone creates division and anger. Whose words inspire dissension and hatred can't possibly "Make America Great Again"— Kobe Bryant (@kobebryant) September 23, 2017

I’m Catholic and was glad to hear Kobe and Gianna went to Mass Sunday morning. The fact that they met their tragic demise hours later is tempered by the knowledge that their souls were relatively pure at the end due to receiving the Holy Eucharist.

I’m not a basketball fan by any means (college FB is my jam), and I still can’t fathom serial cheaters, but I can’t help but feel sorrow for the Bryant family’s loss on a human level. May they Rest In Peace.

Catholicism is a big part of Philadelphia, as the first American bishop to become a saint, John Neumann, started the first Catholic school system in America in the country’s first capital.
