Typical gov’t bungling of this very important matter. Pres Trump you need to take control of this asap.
“...ut only CDC has testing kits and hospitals have to request the kits...”
~~~
Well yeah.
That sounds about right.
Were they supposed to be distributed to all Walgreens or something?
*** only CDC has testing kits and hospitals have to request the kits which has led to a delay in testing. ***
I figure just like the disappeared trillions in the Pentagon, a bunch of the testing kits will disappear, too.
TBH, if I had access to the “kits”, would I ship them to a hospital in DC, NY, LA, or squirrel away some for my family, and friends?
Talk about not being prepared for an emergency. This bottleneck in the system is ridiculous.
Once again it’s the Daily Mail telling us this - not the U.S. media.
Really beginning to have my doubts about the CDC. They knew that this Coronavirus was beginning to spread rapidly and virulently in Wusan and other areas of China. Yet they made no recommendation regarding the curtailment of air travel directly into the United States. Why not? With a 14 day incubation period, it would seem that those travelers have inevitably brought the virus into the country and theoretically a timely travel ban could have been effective. Seems that the CDC has more of a globalist perspective than an American perspective.
And now we enter the Trump-Blaming Phase.
How many of the 110 are college students?
CDC is controlling ALL information on this.
They will determine what comes out of their labyrinth.
If they issued test kits throughout the nation, then locals would be able to report results outside their control.
Their job, as THEY see it is to support the WHO in avoiding “panic” and declarations of “epidemic” and “pandemic” which trigger treaty clauses that end international travel and commerce.
The survivors will have to hang them.
Mayberry sheriff pinned down in shootout because deputy had the only bullet.
Daily Mail are idiots.
There no kits. It’s brand new.
Protocols for testing are here.
