A girls basketball coach was identified as one of the fatalities in the crash that killed Kobe Bryant and his daughter Sunday, officials said.
Christina Mauser who worked at a private school in Orange County, California was among nine people killed instantly when their helicopter crashed in Calabasas, according to Costa Mesa Mayor Katrina Foley.

Also killed in the crash along with Bryant, 41, and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, were college baseball coach John Altobelli, his daughter Alyssa Altobelli

And in one fell swoop all of his students just got blacklisted.
No, he wasn’t the pilot.
An article said there was 4 miles visibility in Orange county where they took off from. They flew into the fog and then the pilot circled for 10 minutes while talking to ATC before proceeding at high risk, without requesting FAA approval for IFR clearance.
I’m not a pilot so I hope I got that right.
