Schumer can save a little face by allowing overzealous prosecutors (mainly Schiff whom no one likes anyway) to take the fall. Schumer himself won't be blamed at this point--IF--he lets the case be dismissed and the impeachment tossed out on the grounds of not only no crime, but Schiff's many procedural errors. Pelosi should never had let him proceed without an authorizing vote by the full house first, among their many other errors and deficiencies.
If Schumer allows this farce to continue beyond this point, he will be the fall guy himself.
Btw, there's no way in hell they're gonna save Biden no matter what. Cat's out of the bag on that one. And the progressives are going to be wiped out in November and probably for a decade or longer. Actually, much longer because Trump is replacing progressives with constitutionalists throughout the federal judiciary as he drains the swamp and restores America's greatness.
Cut your losses before it's too late, Senator. Don't go down with the sinking ship.

He never has had any. This POS has NEVER held a job outside of the government teet.

NYS Assembly —> NYS Senate —> US Congress —> US Senate.
This farce will come down to strict partisan lines.
Even if some Democrats don’t like the “case”, they need to face their own base for re-election.

The most likely candidate to vote acquittal are Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ).
Maybe once they vote, the will pull a Jeff Van Drew. Who knows, if they switch, it is still “good” for our side.
I think we should cut a deal with Schmuer that will allow him to save what’s left of the Dem party in exchange for no interference of judicial nominees and immigration issues in the future. Chuck is in a no-win position and everyone knows it so allow him to quietly end this farce, but with a price.

I read the comments on NYTimes stories and the depth of hatred is incredible. Those people are truly mentally deranged.
He can’t. They are stalling their indictments, that’s why they committed political suicide for this.

The very thing I conveyed to Sinema’s staff the other day.
I told them it should be up to her to file a motion to dismiss.
This isn’t going to stop. After dismissal or acquittal the Dems will start all over again. Their base will demand it and there isn’t anything we can do except vote them out. I wish I lived in a district where I could work to vote out a Dem but where I live in Texas it is comfortably red.
They thought they had us shoved aside for a decade or more with the Obamanation but then along came DJT and it completely upset their new-socialist/, globalist agenda. They are a cornered rat and won’t quit until the last breath (rhetorically speaking).
Once this one is done, they will move right along to the next one.
Chuck and other Democrats are as dedicated to gaining absolute power as the Nazis were.
They’ll use the defeat to raise more money.
They drew it out to prevent play by play by the likes of Chris Plante, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, etc, etc.
They wanted first crack at the defense team on the Sunday shows.

Polls rule Dems.
Their base has no common sense and their leaders and MSM will continue to feed their base the lies they want. Regardless.
Let them flame out slowly and painfully. Some might eventually realize they’re being lied to and tire. F the rest.
We have the Right causes, the momentum and the greatest leader in decades.
Let them stew in their irrelevance. Let the public see these Dems walking around like kids with unchanged diapers.
Throwing in the towel now would only be spun into the next stream of lies and a renewal of energy into their next fruitless folly.
