Have read for decades that NYC is a forign country and should be removed from the union.

Hawaii is split personality. The majority did and does want to be a state. The so called sovereignty clowns are really a sideshow that the liberal media gives lots of attention to.

Texas should have stayed independent.

Just change the word “mistakes” to ‘immigrants’ and the answer would be yes.

Correct.

Libtards tend to cluster together in numbers. Large cities are where they have their power. And those that want free sh1t cluster there because libtard socialists vow to help them by taking stuff from others and giving some to them.

These cities (libtard socialist city-states) under socialist control are the real problems we’re facing. An overwhelming amount of the country is not liberal.

combine the carolinas; the dakotas; Montana and Wyoming; Vermont, NH and Maine into New England; put Conn and Mass together; WV back in Virginia, Tenn and KY

I could get us down to about 35 states.

California is worth more than your double wide or stinky hometown.

How about we give that to Mexico.

"Its not the landmass, its the a-holes that live there. California was once a hard red state. Immigration changed that."

Being born and raised in California (fourth generation, not counting my native american great-grandmother), I would tend to disagree. California was solid Conservative until recently, yes, but unfettered immigration and non-assimilation are the results and perpetuating factors of liberalism.

What really turned California was the oversized influence of Hollywood and the rest of the entertainment industry after it turned communist/liberal in the '50's through the '60's and made the place a mecca for all the other liberal idiots coming from other states (think hippies. Growing up there in the '60's, almost all the hippies I knew came from somewhere else). Eventually, they became the dominate power and ruined that beautiful land. Now that that's been accomplished, their progeny are fleeing back to other states and spreading the rot.

The expression "California: the land of fruits and nuts" came from the fact that that fruits and nuts tend to roll downhill.

CA should be declared to have voided its conditions of statehood and reverted to a territory.

States need to have more of a representative system, not a strict popular vote. New York city should have a limit on how much sway they have over the rest of the state.

Massachusetts and Vermont were conservative Republican states at one time. Calvin Coolidge came from there.

Besides, the US as it is was Manifest Destiny Man!

We had that until Reynolds v. Sims, aka the "One Man/One Vote" decision of the Supreme Court over 50 years ago.

19th Amendment. Women immediately went to voting for socialism and to kill their children.

No, stop sending the Libs from other states there to take advantage of a lifestyle and a state I was born in and love

So take out the trash that moved their with ideas from elsewhere and let the state return to where it came from, A republic one of only 3 states in the union that are

I looked at your profile and you have lot of chutzpah claiming to be representing my state in this way

Lead, follow or get the hell out of the way

Feeling about this can come from the other direction.

I grew up in Texas. When I was young some of those central-west Texas ranchers used to say, “Texas only made one mistake, and that happened in 1845”, (the year Texas became a state).
