Connecticut Democrats in the state’s Senate have proposed creating a new state police department that would be tasked with specifically combating “far-right” extremism.

The proposal, which was unveiled Wednesday as part of the state Senate Democrats’ “A Just Connecticut” agenda, would publicly fund a new state police department that specializes in investigating “far-right extremist groups and individuals,” according to a news release.

I grew up in eastern Connecticut in the seventies and eighties, and I don’t recall any neo-Nazi types where I lived. It was a heavily Democratic area, but it was there I heard the N word used freely among these blue collar types. Is the far right extremism they’re referring to these blue collar Democrats in places like Groton, New London and Waterford?

If I stayed in Ct, I bet I would be the first arrested for the letters to the editor I wrote that were pro gun, anti public unions, anti green policies and complaints about high taxes and public spending. Once Ct became a one party state it became every bit as bad as CA.
