One person is dead and several are injured following a head-on crash involving a charter bus carrying Covington Catholic students, Campbell County police said.
The crash happened around 7:20 a.m. Saturday in the northbound lanes of the AA Highway at California Crossroads in Campbell County.
According to witnesses on the scene, a southbound car somehow entered the northbound lanes of the highway, striking the charter bus head-on.
"I saw a car come across the median and head toward me," said Ricky Lynn, a witness who was also driving north. "I was able to get out of the way."
The driver of the wrong-way car was pronounced dead at the scene. That driver's name has not been released.

With all the car crash videos on You Tube, odds are this is a tragic coincidence. If anything it shows that if driving safety was taken half as seriously as gun safety our insurance premiums would be like chump change. This was Sat morning, the driver of the car may have been totally sh*tfaced, I witnessed such an accident on I-84 in NY coming home from work one night.
I doubt it. If that had been his intention, how could he have located the target?

maybe that car driver had a medical issue? from what I read they are the only fatality.
God allowed this car and this bus to collide for His purposes.
People can assume or think as they want but many many good things and glory to God can come from it, even in the death of the one person and injuries to others and ripple effect as we read or hear of it - God can use all of it for good.
Unfortunately there was a wrong way crash in grand central parkway in queens around 6am today. People killed. Unfortunately this type of thing is happening more frequently.
