I’ve loved that I’ve been able to go on YouTube and watch all these old interviews. Drove me nuts after Trump announced his candidacy there were those that claimed they didn’t know where he stood on issues that r that he wasn’t conservative. The man and his views have not wavered one iota with the exception to his stance on abortion, period! And that happened when he saw the light becoming a grandfather
The only thing wrong with that interview was offering to shake hands at the end of it.
You gotta’ love a man who had CNN’s number 3 decades ago.
That was epic. I loved his statement about the questions being turned into statements. I was surprised to see Trump offer to shake hands, but that exudes extreme confidence. It said, “You’re an idiot, but have a nice day.”
He invented the original “Mic drop!”
Many people have commented on this. What it shows is, even under such circumstances he’s at his heart a decent man.
Now, many people don’t get this because he doesn’t put up with BS. And, he knows when he’s being setup. But, instinctively, he’s genuinely a good guy at heart who wishes to be treated fairly.
His basic operating mode is you be fair to me and I’ll be fair to you. He loves a win win scenario. If you read his books this becomes very obvious.
But, if you screw him over more than once he never forgets. He’s always willing to give you a pass the first time.
Never a second time.
His opinion of the media is and always has been a very low opinion. Based on experience.
Trump did this with Sen. Mike Lee on the stage after his speech at the March for Life. You can’t see Trump’s face or hear anything, but Lee definitely wanted to shake hands with the President in order to get back in his good graces. I am speculating that Trump will give him this chance.
