Hate using the laptop because of that tiny finger area. Only use it for watching TV and then there’s nowhere to use a mouse. For the big computer, I use a tablet and pen. Can’t use a mouse at all. I dropped my pen - yet again - and had a 5 day wait before the new pen arrived. Could hardly function with the hand cramps from the mouse.

For the laptop, I have a table on wheels—we got it for my dad-it’s like those hospital tables up and down adjustment.

Just right to sit in my easy chair and use the mouse on that table.

Have you considered a wireless trackball?

I have been using the Logitech wireless trackballs for years.

Cordless, trackball mouse. I hold mine in my lap. No need for a flat surface. You don't have to touch the computer unless you want to type something.
