The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

I have found the best way to avoid the pneumonia aspect is to take half a Benadryl as soon as I feel sniffling.

The antihistamine decreases the flow into my lungs and the recovery period is very short.

N95 masks are expensive and require fitting and instruction in appropriate use as well as a fit test. Men with facial hair cannot use the N 95 they will not get an appropriate seal. Save your money unless you know how to use them and have been appropriately fitted
