Student at Texas A&M University being treated for suspected case of novel coronavirus

Officials at the Brazos County Health District said Thursday they are investigating a suspected case of the 2019 novel coronavirus.

The male patient, who has been identified as a student at Texas A&M University, had traveled from Wuhan, China, where the coronavirus that has made headlines in recent days first originated, officials said.

Considering TAMU opened for the Spring 2020 semester on January 13 this person could have spread the disease all over campus for over a week.

Bring Out Your Dead

Oh yeah, I’ve read almost all of his early stuff, some of it was pretty good. I did read the unabridged version of The Stand, which was good, but OMG verbal diarrhea he do have! I have read almost none of his later works though.

Having read that, I am a bit nervous about this current story!

If there was one at conservative A&M, imagine how many at uber lib UT. Go to the music building at UT and you’ll hear nothing but Chinese/Japanese/whatever Asian spoken there.

This virus is very “virulent” ie easily spread, but terribly deadly.

While I am not saying there is no need to be concerned, this is NOT a civilization killer by any means.
