I work 12 hours/day and 7 days a week. I don't have the time to watch these shenanigans, as entertaining or not, they may be.
I was just wondering if what happened today can be summarized?
The proceedings are a testament to the power of Depends and a well-placed Foley.
It is so blatantly and transparently partisan that I have lost interest in it.
Democrats would be ashamed of themselves if they had even a modicum of integrity.
They have forever stained themselves and will be remembered with ridicule in US history
as a cautionary tale on the danger of letting hatred rule you and how it destroys a person’s rationality.
I think the damage is only short term. Once the Dems realize that it isn’t resonating, it will be abandoned.
I dont think so. You are thinking rationally. They are definitely NOT.
After the impeachment trial and subsequent acquittal of the POTUS watch Biden drop out. Biden’s entry into the race was a plant. Just like it was when Andrew Jackson fired the Secretary of War was a plant. Biden is not in it to win it. He is in the race to finally get Trump impeached. Which the demonrats did. Trump might be a master-level chess player but he was outplayed, albeit cheating was done, on this one. Now let’s just hope the prophecies about Trump in his second term aren’t true.
I have been recording, then watching the trial in the Senate. Every motion, every vote, every recess.
I have a process for doing so, like the Senate has rules, so I have watching the trial rules.
Rule #1
When Democrats are speaking, hit fast forward until they are not.
Rule#2
When Republicans are speaking, listen intently to every word said.
Rule #3
While at recess or break, fast forward to Republican speakers.
Since it was all Democrats today, I didn’t watch any of it.
> ...just wondering if what happened today can be summarized?
Tales told by idiots, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
Bloviating.
Democrats trying to overturn the 2016 election and influence the 2020 election.
The more Schiff and company talk, the more bored and miffed the People get and the more unified the Republicans become...
My request as well. Thanks for asking this question.
