C’mon man, it’s the new black market. When you find a coupon for 25cents, you sell it for 20cents. You make 20cents and the saves an entire nickel.

Don’t you know you can make $50k a month clipping coupons? All you need to do is get a warehouse, then clip 6 million coupons, then find the only store on earth that will offer cash for coupons....then...

“Coupon clipping” was a thing for The Greatest Generation, including many Boomers Parents and Grand Parents on a fixed income. Middle Class retirees back then didn’t have 401K’s, but many of them bought bonds for retirement income, and they clipped and remitted those coupons to supplement their income. For some, including widows and orphans, those coupons were all they had. Of course, Joe only knows rich folks, so he assumes they are the only ones that “clip coupons”. Sorry Joe, but the folks you hung around didn’t clip anything, they hired people that took care of that for them.

His wife needs to put him under lock and key. It wouldn’t do any good to tell him to stop going out and making a fool of himself - he’s past hope and I’m assuming so is she if she approves of what he’s doing/saying!

You clip the coupons from bonds. Back in the 1950s. And the “street” is Wall Street.

In 1978 people would get it. Not so much today.

When is the last time anybody ever “clipped a coupon,” and when did they ever do it “on the street”? The guy is both elderly and nuts.

And it’s not just the years. Some people can go on until their 90s and still be fine, and others begin to lose it in their 60s. He’s mentally elderly, even older than his years. Not quite senile but certainly pretty close. And he never had much except greed and ambition to begin with.

Given his long history of gaffes, it is easy to say he’s senile. And that Democrats are covering up for the dementia and deteriorated judgement because they hate all the other front-runners.

Sanders has his faculties, though his radical politics are why he has so many violent Communists in his employ.
