If I had to choose, I’d take the one on the right.
Many years ago I was talking to a guy in NYC who had an antique sailor’s cane which was a real weapon. It was slender spring steel rod covered with woven leather, topped with a solid brass knob about the size of a tennis ball. He was well aware of how it could be used. And, he didn’t limp.
This sounds like a cane mutiny to the status quo treatment of child predators.
Even among the worst of the worst child molesters don’t survive!! EVERYONE knows this in the prison system so WHY were they placed in the normal population??? Not that I give a damn just sayin!!!

This is not good. Suppose that person was wrongly convicted? They just killed an innocent man.
I’m all for a death penalty conviction in these cases but let the courts and juries decide it, not some equally horrendous incarcerated thug.

That’s what I was thinking.
For their crimes I personally would have them face the death penalty.
However, once they are in state custody, the state is responsible for them, regardless of their crimes. No matter their crime, if a person in prison is harmed while in custody, that is shameful to any who claim to be civilized.
It’s a really short step from thinking this is OK to thinking prison rapes are OK too - and I know there are folks here who explicitly not only approve of but cheer the latter.
People who are better than these criminals do not do this, and do not allow this.
Can anyone find out the brand name of the Cane/Canes used.
If they were wood, what type of wood and diameter and length of the cane?
If they were not wood, what were they made of?
