That was more TDS on the newspaper's part than hating on Jim Kelly. If you read the article he was shouted at 350 times and liked 2400 times, almost 7:1 in likes vs dislikes. Only a nitwit newspaper writer would call that being cancelled.

Sucker-punched a 50-year-old man sitting on a bar stool with his back turned because he refused to accept the offer of a drink of the whisky McRapist shills for (but “the left” didn’t manage to knock him off his stool). Went into a (publicity-inspired?) rage and threw a hand truck at a motor coach with other MMA fighters he was having a war of words with inside, breaking out windows and causing injuries to two such that they had to cancel upcoming fights. And he is the sole suspect in two separate ongoing sexual assault cases in Ireland.
Not the sort of person I’d fancy seeing be aligned with.

Seriously, he has acknowledged having a problem with the bottle (which I suspect played more than a part in his misbehaviour). He appears to be in a better place right now, so I’ll give him a pass, absent any criminal convictions for any of the above.
Warriors are cut from a different cloth than the rest of us. A little instability is a feature, not a bug, in their ‘programing’
