National defense airspace? Who is attacking? Russian fighters? Chinese? And if this is national level, its no longer a state dispute.

Is that stupid governor going to bomb USA citizens, or what?
I wish that if antifa surrounded the gun rights people that the Guard would surround them.
Strange actions for the U.S.

Hope this means there will be federal drone surveillance of the rally.
Lord knows Atty Gen Herring will ‘disappear’ any state-gathered evidence of attacks on the protestors.

Years ago an F4 or F5 tornado blew through the small town I live in, leaving a path of destruction 1/2 mi. wide and scores of miles long.
The next day, the sky was full of news helicopters and private planes. Roads were all bumper to bumper with gawkers. The Sheriff's Department had to set up roadblocks and issued passes to locals, while Air National Guard choppers chased off the aerial kibitzers. They were appreciated, by me at least.
But it's not the same situation at all, is it? Natural disaster vs. political putsch?

I think the issue is that police make extensive use of drones over rallies, protests and marches, and they don’t like sharing. When state or local governments request a NOTAM for drones and small aircraft, the FAA pretty much rubber stamps it. Understand, a large event could end up having a hundred or more personal drones flying around, crashing, colliding, etc. It would be reasonable to issue a few exemptions for non LE purposes, but too many becomes a problem, and possibly even a vector for an attack on the crowd.

They are trying to show there is no use going against the all powerful government. There are other ways to get at the corrupt lawmakers besides a full frontal assault. Ill bet hizzhonor wont even be anywhere near the Capitol on Monday.
