Not much seemed solemn or prayerful about Nancy Pelosi's appearance on "Real Time with Bill Maher" on Friday night.
In Maher's return from a holiday hiatus, the House speaker spoke gleefully about her colleagues impeaching President Trump and doubled down on her Russian-charged attacks against Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
After Maher pointed out that Pelosi was initially "rather reluctant" to move forward with impeachment and waited until "it was inevitable," the California Democrat responded that Trump simply gave his critics in the House "no choice" in the matter.
"The president was self-impeaching almost every single day," Pelosi said.
"There are some people who have actually said that he wanted to be impeached," Maher then observed. "Just for the record, being impeached is a bad thing, right?"
"And you're impeached forever," Pelosi replied with a big grin on her face, sparking applause from the audience. "No matter what the Senate does, that can never be erased."
The HBO star later offered Pelosi a chance to speak directly to the president -- on the off chance that Trump was watching the show.

On January 20, 2021, President Trump will be sworn in for a second term as our great President.
Nazi Pelousy will no longer be the House Speaker. She will be what she is now....an embittered old hag who will be lucky to even retain her seat in the House, one of 435 House members.
One hundred years from now, there will be statues of President Trump erected all over America and all over the world for that matter.
No one will remember....or care....who the demented Nancy Pelosi is, or ever was.
Wow.
Too many, including myself thought the house could interpret whatever they wished to be an impeachable offense, even if it was absurd.
Now I know better.

This is why the Senate should find a way to dismiss the specious charges, rather than acquitting.
Yeah the dems will be the laughingstocks in history.
Like I said before, the stock market doesn’t make almost regular new highs if even a minority are taking the impeachment seriously.
The market fell 40 percent during the whole Nixon impeachment and resignation
The day Bill was impeached, the market fell 5 percent.
Trump’s stock market is soaring during this insane impeachment.
That speaks volumes.
And you Nancy will be one of the all time worst politicians in the history of the world.

Nancy. Presidents can be impeached. You will never be impeached.
An impeachment is an indictment, NOT a conviction, being only a CHARGE, and as such not part of any criminal record of permanent nature.
It takes a two-thirds majority vote in the Senate to bring about a conviction. Acquittal expunges the record of any criminal misfeasance, and because of the “double jeopardy” clause in the Fifth Amendment “...nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb....”, once acquitted, the record stands.
If there is a charge brought that in fact does NOT represent a crime was ever committed, then the charge and indictment are both without merit and entirely bogus.
And because no crimes have been committed, the Senate should dismiss. Instead, Dems, and some here, want a show trial... lots of excitement to brighten up their boring, unproductive lives.
My once exciting and productive life is now breaking records for boredom and non production and I still don’t want a trial :)
It gives the whole charade an undeserved air of legitimacy.
