A young girl is safe and a Massachusetts man is in custody hours after police say he abducted the 11-year-old after she got off a school bus. Charlotte Moccia was reported missing by State Police Wednesday after they said she was seen being forced into a car at around 1:30 p.m. after she was dropped off by the school bus in Springfield. Charlotte, a student at Hampden Charter School of Science in Chicopee, was still in her uniform when witnesses saw her screaming as the suspect forced her into a navy blue Honda Civic, police said. Nearly six hours later, at around 7:15 p.m., police received several calls reporting a car matching that description eastbound on the Massachusetts Turnpike, FOX25 reported. Police pulled the car over and found Charlotte in the back seat and 24-year-old Miguel Rodriguez behind the wheel. The girl was evaluated on the scene and didnt appear injured. Rodriguez was taken into custody and is due in court Thursday. Rodriguezs father told Masslive.com that his son has a history of mental illness, including schizophrenia and paranoia. We knew that sooner or later he was going to do something of this nature, Henry Rodriguez said, but not something this crazy.

This was an Amber Alert that went out last night around 6 pm EST. It was on my phone, the radio an TV.
BS about the mental illness. This is a trafficker. Seen it several times happen in CA here.
Kill him. Make an example of him as deterrence. This should no longer be tolerated.
Yup,got an Amber Alert on my cellphone last night. My phone went crazy and I picked it up and saw the alert. I had never gotten one before.
She and her parents are extremely lucky. I recall a similar story where the girl’s body was found hours later. On one hand it’s good that the cops found the guy, but it would be better news if only his body was found.
I was aware of the abduction not too long after it happened. It seemed like Springfield and State Police were all over it and got the word out to news outlets quickly.
I didn’t get the Amber Alert on my phone until after 6:00 p.m. My wife got the alert on hers earlier in the afternoon.
Miguel Rodriguez.
Let me guess ...
Massachusetts....Miguel Rodriguez..............I wonder, is that from the Mayflower descended Rodriguezes?...........
I was listening to The Sports Hub 98.5 on the way home from work when it came on.
It is great that they caught the guy.
Too bad he was not shot dead during the arrest.
Unfortunately this guy will be a ward of the state just like so many mental cases coming over the borders are.
The Amber Alert stated that there was a MAN and a WOMAN involved in the original abduction.
The deputy in the photo in post #10 also looks like he’s descended from the same Mayflower Rodriguezes. I’m sick of these hordes of illegal transplants ucking fup our country.
We feel really bad’..says the Rodriguez family. Then why let him drive in the first place? Idiots!
Why indeed, unless they didn’t know he was going to commit a crime.
This came over my sons phone last night. It didn’t sat VT or MA. Now that I know it’s Springfield MA my first thought was illegal alien. Springfield is a sanctuary city and infested with illegals.
sanctuary city = Vote Fraud City
The Spanish colonized North America around 40 years before the French and then English did. Aside from that, what does the deputy’s ethnicity have to do with anything?
The family knew he was going to do something bad. That doesn’t mean they could stop it. It can be very difficult to hospitalize or force a mentally ill person to take medication. Left wing ideas about civil rights, right wing budget cuts hand in hand.
It might have been the kidnapper’s own car not the family’s.
In Massachusetts the family probably could prevent him from keeping a legally acquired gun.
