I’m starting to wonder about these flu shots we’re getting.
My whole fam damily got some kind of nasty upper respiratory cooties for Christmas. We all got flu shots this year. I’m still fighting mine because I have scarring in my lungs from adult onset chickenpox.
Meanwhile, my mom, who won’t get within a mile of a doctor’s office let alone get the shot escaped that fate.

I can only tell you my opinion. My dad was a paramedic-he never got a flu shot and advised me to never do it either. So I have never had a flu shot. I did start taking Vit. D with calcium on Doctor’s advice—not because of flu.
However, since then, I have not ever had the flu. I know that some studies have shown that Vit. D is helpful with respect to fighting the flu. Now, I also am retired, and I stay home during the flu season as much as possible.
If I go out, I use germ x before and after—like as soon as I get into the car to go home. And I never touch my face unless I have done that.
Back to the flu shot-they guess to the best of their ability what strain will be active. Their guesses are not so accurate. And there was a CDC guy that tried to blow the whistle on the shot a few years back.
He disappeared, and was found later—it was called suicide.
I don’t take the shot. Your body if fed nutrition it needs and sanitation is your best defense for any virus. JMHO
DH and I get our flu shots every year, and have shown no ill effects.
