MYRTLE POINT, Ore. - Melissa Morris was arrested on New Years Eve after she told deputies she punched her boyfriend in the face for leaving her dog outside in the rain.
Police say they responded to a call of a suspected assault where they were met by the Oregon womans boyfriend, James, who said she punched him in the face two times.
Investigators say they saw a marble-sized welt and scratch mark on James right eyebrow.
James told police that he was talking to Morris when she began hitting him.
Morris was then taken into custody on a domestic assault charge and was later transported to the Coos County Jail. The sheriffs office shared a mugshot of Morris on social media which showed her flashing a large grin.

I bet he never does that again.
Oh no......
“Per some of the posts: So assault is ok for women to commit on men?”
Absolutely. And when her case winds its way through the system, the slap on the wrist she gets will be nothing compared to what he would have gotten had the roles been reversed.
For some reason, men put up with a lot of verbal and emotional abuse. Well, not for just “some reason” lol. As long as the sexual abuse is pegged at about 9 or 10, it takes a lot of the other kinds of abuse to scare us off lol.
What a woose boyfriend.
Yes, I am familiar with the Duluth Model; where a man calls the police in a domestic violence situation because he is being assaulted, possibly by a drugged up or drunk woman, and then HE is promptly taken into custody. And you have the trad cons here cheering this on.
Good. He did the right thing. The Democrat hawg will also learn a lesson about gun control (Lautenberg Amendment). She’ll be disarmed for the rest of her life and at the mercy of any criminals who want to brutalize her.
“A completely justifiable punch!”
Nope. IT’S A DOG. Why is it not OK to leave a dog in the rain, but OK to punch someone over it?
I let my dogs in when it’s cold and raining, but THEY ARE DOGS. I’m never cruel to them, but THEY ARE DOGS.
DOGS AREN’T PEOPLE. They have fur. Their natural habitat is OUTSIDE.
Oh no!
