In the 11th paragraph says,

People no longer employed by the government do not keep their clearances. When I retired from the Air Force and went to work for a university with government contracts, I had to get a new clearance.

I have a couple of friends who retired at or above Col. they work as “consultants” in the Defense business. I am sure their clearances help them “consult” on classified projects.

I give them shit about still sucking off from Uncle Sugar...
