A woman has been charged with murder after her dog was involved in a fatal mauling in Rockcastle County.
Police say they were called to a home on Pug Lane Friday morning. According to an arrest citation, a female at the residence had been involved in an altercation with a man at the home and during the struggle she had turned her pit bull loose on the man.
Troopers arrived at the home and had to shoot the dog as they were not able to attend to the victim due to the dog's aggressive behavior.

Pug Lane?
Got meth?
Should have put the woman down as well and saved everyone a lot of money and time.
Ben, ya’ think?
police shot the wrong dog...
She’s about an ugly son of a bitch......
GOOD!
Turning the dog loose on him was no different than shooting him.
She intended harm.
She killed him with her dog as surely as any other weapon.
In unknown U.S. state.
Kentucky.
I just saw her in “Return of the Living Dead 3”
Pit bull - the great equalizer.
Exactly. Doesn’t she know we can carry here now without a permit. Guns are so much more efficient than dogs.
She’s pretty tall for around here. And give her a shower, some makeup, and take that “I’m getting photographed by the cops” look off her face, and she is not guilty.
Just sayin’.
I think I dated her...
Cheers for the clean police involved. They did their job without fear of the drug related pit bull mob.
Thats a heckuva mug shot. The crazy is strong in that one.
And of course its a pit bull.
Perhaps the dog owner should run for office. It appears that the position of Humane Society Senior Director for the state of Connecticut may now be open:
