The first thing you will realize when visiting Yellowstone National Park aside from the astonishing beauty of nature and wildlife is that you have entered an area that isnt totally ruled by humans. A pair of visitors at the park recently recorded a video that proves this point, and it might make you feel a little uneasy..
As NBC Montana reports, Brandon Beshears captured and shared video of a wolf pack surrounding his truck while he was driving through the park one evening.
Check out the video from NBC Montanas Facebook below (VOLUME UP TO HEAR THE PACK SOUND-OFF!):
A little creepy, right?
Notice the remainder of the pack in his rear view mirror? Yeah, talk a bad time to get out of your vehicle and mess with nature. Weve seen it before though..
A lot of people have an infatuation with black wolves because of their exceptionally striking appearance, and you cant blame them. If youre like me, you never get tired learning about this incredible K-9s!
Honest to Paws has an interesting article about the mysterious black wolves of Yellowstone, which details the history of these majestic looking animals.
My Border collie Sheltie mix looked up when I played the video. Call of the wild. Heh.
Because of where we live I am on lists and have read stories like this, a new one every week. Hunters are often surrounded by a pack an hour or two north of us.

Listen to them!
Children of the night.
What music they make!
Ha! You mentioned that before, but I gonna get one now.
Yer a font of info, amigo. Thanks.
Folks in VA might consider it too...
Play well with others!
Yeah. It’s a song of death.
In one section of the Alaskan Highway, they were the last vehicles on the highway before the road was barricaded because of a winter storm. After sleeping overnight in the tents on he side of the road, a Canadian ranger drove up and it turned out he had come out to check on them because of the weather.
The ranger had a rifle doing over his shoulder and told them to look at the ridgeline that was above them. There were several wolves on the ridge and the ranger said if you can see the wolves they have been stalking them for some time. The guys had been in quite a bit of danger when the ranger drove up.
Put one on a Serbu for Shits’N Giggles ...... Pattern is about the same as a bedroom door at 7 yards using #4 buck .....
They would have looked at the people on foot and wondered if they were as weak as they looked and if they were good to eat.
You are an animal too, and a dull one at that.
You should apply for a job with the Park Service, where your leftist tendencies and dullard capacities would serve you well.
You wouldn’t have to adapt at all.
Back in about 1995 I was doing work in Idaho. They had just introduced 4 wolves. They ended up bringing in perhaps 20 from Canada over the next few years.
I think the wolf population is around 500 or so now.
They now have opened it up to hunting to try to keep the wolf population down.
Some folks want to reintroduce Grizzlies to NW Washington. (The state that is. I wonder how that would go over to bring them to Washington D.C.?)
An aside. They first wanted to name the state “Columbia”. But they figured it would get confused with “The District of Coumbia.” So they named it Washington instead.
Only the government could take an iconic, free, powerful being and turn it into a lazy leach and a beggar.
The video has two dogs - the larger light colored dog in front and the smaller black dog.
The larger light colored dog almost seemed to bark a bit of an alarm, but also seemed to show a “Hey - they are pretty much like me they don’t seem like a threat maybe we can be friends” attitude. (Showing it’s body, not making a stand, etc.)
How many humans and politicians fall into that trap?

Hey Outdoorhub. Since you didnt respond to my email I guess Im forced to use your comment section. You have stolen my footage and completely fabricated a story to go along with it. Take it down or youll be talking to counsel. Have a nice day.
You got meat??????
Due in part to the relentless lies of the environmentalists that wolves have never attacked humans.
Looks like it would be nice to see Yellowstone in Winter.

Wow! You are lucky you got no closer and had a 20 yard head start. They don’t mean to be mean, they are just stupid and can see almost anything as a potential threat as pointed out in the post previous to yours.
Technically, wolves invented the ACC.
