she should die in prison like any other murderer.

ideally i wish all of them a speedy trial and execution for clear cut solid evidence cases. like a trail within a week and execution the next week.

I agree with that. Why should we pay to put these people up for years and years?

She loved him to death.

I don’t recall ever hearing about this; but it’s an interesting story. I don’t find any real information as to why she was finally granted parole, but there has seemed to be an issue of incompetent representation in the original trial brought up by her lawyers throughout the appeals process.

(Just as a ‘human experience’ thing, I’m wondering what it’s like to get out of prison after 20 years, and see mountains in the distance...)

As I always say of my ex:

‘If I had killed him back when he deserved it, I’d be out of prison by now!’ ;)

hoping that the federal court will grant her a new trial

Give her a new trial, convict her again, and then give her a new sentence with no credit for time served.

“I don’t find any real information as to why she was finally granted parole”

Don’t know. But a lot of times paroles are given to elderly prisoners so that the state won’t have to pay for their increasing medical bills (which can run into hundreds of thousands).

They aren’t considered a threat to anyone anymore, so they are simply shoved out of the system.

Don’t know if that’s true in this case, but it happens a lot.

people often get paroled fromn horrible crimes because they are older. it shouldn’t make any difference.

Well, I’d like to know exactly what thinking went into the decision to parole her.

(Do you think she’s going to seduce another man, and kill him?)

As I’ve stated, I don’t know anything about this case.

But since there has been a lot of controversy over her original conviction, aren’t you even interested in looking at the record?

(A lot of people think that Trump should be convicted of ‘high crimes and misdemeanors’ - but they have also chosen to ignore the evidence - or obvious lack of such...)

I think it’s important to become actually educated on issues, before making decisions and pronouncing about them.
