NINERS!!!!
https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-rushing-yards-per-game
Ravens 4th against Run.
You drink’n Jim ?
I think a big key to this win was the Niners’ defense got a couple of key guys back and stopped the Vikes’ run game pretty much cold. Surprising to see that.
Disappointing to see the Niners’ offense go almost completely to the run in the 4th qtr without even trying for a play action which had a good chance of gaining lots of ground and score another TD. Tells me the Niners need to work a little more on ball-control offense
(If you missed he just uttered that phrase at least 5 or 6 times) 😂😂
Don’t make stupid statements.
The stat is Opponent Yards per Rush Attempt, not Opponent Rushing Yards per Game.
According to your stat, a team could run a total of twice and the defense could come out looking like a great running defense.
Ravens are 21st in Opponent Yards per Rush Attempt.
What are you on?
Yeah. The first words out of his mouth were, “You know what I’m saying?” and he hadn’t even said anything yet.
Maybe nerves.

Just the Facts mam...
Try again: The yardage stat for defense against passing and running is Opponent Yards per Rush Attempt
Ignoring density for a long time.
Rushing Yards per Attempt is a great offensive stat but pretty meaningless for defensive purposes.
Rushing Yards per Game has always been the measuring stick defenses are measured by.
The difference between the Ravens Opponents Yards Per Rush at #22 and the Giants at #4 is
4.4 to 3.9
..a whopping .5 per carry
over 20 rushing attempts that lol, 10 yards.
Stats only matter when you understand them.

Opponent Yards per Rush Attempt doesn't have that problem, Mr. "Stats only matter when you understand them."
Titans ahead of the Ravens? Who woulda thunk it.
Jim’s approach is preferred.
He’s made us all wealthy this year.
Go Titans. !!!
How many picked BA, but are all in for TN?
14 to 0 now!
Who woulda thunk it?
Apparently only two folks on this thread.
While I picked the Ravens, see my post 43
Good job so far guys - still early in the game.
Bears repeating - although I picked the Ravens because their full-season stats were the best, the Titans may be the best late-season team.
It may surprise some that the Titans are the top-ranked passing team in the NFL and the third-ranked running team in the NFL and look like they could give the Ravens defense a run for their money, especially in the run. If the Titans can contain the Ravens running game, the Titans have a good shot at a win.
“It may surprise some that the Titans are the top-ranked passing team in the NFL”
You mean over the last few gamesC? ause season wide I don’t see those numbers. Although they do appear to be third in passer rating, behind Balt and NOLA.
